TRANSMITTER HUNTING

(FOX HUNTING)

home site map contact

The Southwest Dallas County Amateur Radio Club tries to hold a transmitter hunt once a month. It usually is on the first Saturday of the month and can be a mobile hunt on a "on foot" hunt.  The transmitter is called the "fox" and we try to locate it using directional antennas. They are a lot of fun and are a learning experience that gives us skills that can be useful when trying to find sources of interference. Stay tuned to this website to get the latest information on our fox hunts.
